Who Was Alexander Graham Bell? by Bonnie Bader

Who was Alexander Graham Bell by Bonnie Bader was a fantastic book. I really liked how he created the telephone and got a patent but other people/inventors still tried to say that they invented the telephone. I also liked how he helped people who were deaf use sound waves to start listening.

Aleck or Alec was an inventor for many things but his most famous invention was the telephone. When he was a young boy he wanted to teach kids how to learn the Alphabet when kids are deaf. His first son died because of a lung failure.

I recommend this book to kids in grades 6-8 because it has some hard words but it is very interesting.

Although Bell was not one of the 33 founders [11] of the National Geographic Society , he had a strong influence on the magazine while serving as the second president from January 7, , until Alexander Bell was born in Edinburgh , Scotland, on March 3, He had two brothers: Melville James Bell — and Edward Charles Bell — , both of whom would die of tuberculosis. As a child, young Bell displayed a natural curiosity about his world, resulting in gathering botanical specimens as well as experimenting even at an early age.
