Me on the map read aloud
Mapping Pennys World by Loreen Leedy
Lisas class is learning how to make maps. The teacher says they can make maps of anyplace, so Lisa starts with her bedroom. She includes all the things that people will need to read the map, such as a scale and a key to the symbols she has used.
Her dog, Penny, helps with the map. This gives Lisa an idea: Why not map Pennys world? Making maps is so much fun that Lisa and Penny decide to visit some of the exotic places that theyve drawn-but they wont forget to take a map along!
Now available in paperback, this engaging sequel to the bestselling Measuring Penny will delight teachers and students alike.
My Map Book
Because locations were deleted I have now locked the official map and added ONE marker per state or country that is participating. That means that these markers are not for individual sites , but instead just for geographical location. Many of you have contacted me to ask if you could have a marker placed for your specific location on our official Google Map. Yes, you can. Simply fill out this form and I will get them placed on the map.
An educational video for kids. This is a video of 'Me on the Map' read aloud. The original pages are shown as a woman narrates. ().
