I am having a hard time processing the fact that I now need to make a reading list for 7th grade! When I started making book lists, my child was a wee thing! But I digress. Note: book covers and titles are affiliate links. Nothing but the Truth by Avi. But the chain of events that he sets in motion has the community examining what it means to be truthful, patriotic and respectful of others.

An a ssessment will be given based on the two books read by each individual.

The best way to build vocabulary skills and become a good writer is to be an avid reader. To encourage intellectual pursuits during the summer, middle school students are required to read 3 books during their summer break. Writing assignments related to the readings details below are also required and due on the first day class. In addition they must read one book from the following list and one book of their choice. Both Mrs. Seremetis and I highly recommend choosing the third book from the list as well.
