Shadowhunters: Casting in the Movie VS TV Show
Apr 22, PM. Here is my opinion: I like the show. A LOT. The book drives on the fact that they are all from New York, it really bothered me that all the characters were British. The show has its flaws to but What do you think?
Even though the TV version of Clary is more inline with the book series description of the character, I am firmly in the corner of Lily Collins. Her acting is much more emotive and I absolutely hate the hair of TV series Clary. Next is the major heart throb of the series — Jace Wayland. This one was quite tricky for me to outright pick. I quite like the grungy, brooding version of Jace in the movie. Jamie plays a very intense, tortured feeling version, which I think would suit the upbringing of Jace.
Fans have been waiting for the epic finale, so be prepared for your pulse to accelerate and for your heart to be shattered, because Katherine McNamara has confirmed there is a character death that will shock viewers. Shadowhunters are human-angel hybrids that have special abilities and training to hunt and kill demons to protect the mundanes, normal people as they call them. The series follows Clary as she searches for her mother, and then for a cure for the magical coma, she is induced in. Clary falls in love as she opens her eyes to a magical world with fairies, vampires, werewolves, and. Clary falls in love in the magical world of fairies, vampires, and warlocks, and eventually, finds her evil father and rekindles with her lost brother who was believed to be dead. Unfortunately, the movie flopped and no sequels were ever made, leaving many fans heartbroken.

So, I want to talk about one of my all time favorite book series Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. In , they made the series in a movie starring Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower as the leads. I had high hopes for the movie because I loved the book so much.
The official poster for the "Mortal Instruments" mulligan adaptation for the small screen this time "Shadowhunters" was released on Friday Nov. As Shadowhunters the long-held name of Clare's fans, predating the TV series' title well know, "City of Bones" drew only so-so results from the box office and got eaten alive by critics, so the studio's original plans to turn this into a "Twilight"-"Hunger Games"-"Divergent"-style franchise phenom were pretty much D. But the book series, which has spawned a multitude of prequels and spin-offs and novellas, is still as popular as ever. So with "Shadowhunters," ABC Family's got the chance to turn it all around -- and its hotshot young cast and the relaxed time-frame within which to pull off all the supernatural subplots presented by the series among them: demonslayers, mundanes, warlocks, vampires, werewolves, angels, faeries, runes, portals and more should help. Either it's the giant red rune or that rad studded belt or her general fight stance mixed with her WTF face that has us ready to overlook the excessive photoshopping that's happened here and enjoy the fire-haired heroine being front and center.
