Fall is finally in the air!! Per usual, Brad grilled steaks and sausages that is his thing and he does it well! For appetizers, I put together a big cheese platter with nuts, dried apricots, figs and three different types of cheeses I usually go with one mild cheese, one hard and one soft. Since we were going for a bit of a fall theme I wanted to do a side dish that felt a little like comfort food. Parmesan Chive Smashed Potatoes were perfect. They are a good serving size for a dinner party and for me, they are the food version of a warm cozy blanket.
