Brooklyn, NY — At the tender age of eight, Anaya Lee Willabus made history as the youngest author of a chapter book in the country! Anaya, who is now twelve-years-old remembers how it was a challenge to convince her parents at seven-years-old, that she was serious about becoming a published author. Her passion grew over the years, motivated by summer reading programs sponsored throughout Brooklyn, where Anaya was raised. Although she found there to be too few books about children of color, she remembers being inspired by people of color who made a difference in their communities and in the world around them. Anaya is excited to announce that her fourth book M ake it Happen! As well as being a four-time published author, Anaya serves as the founder of her non-profit organization The Stalwarts Youth Corporation. Its mission is to encourage children to strive for excellence in reading and writing through community partnerships, such as book drives, and school supply donations in underserved areas.

If you follow me on Instagram , then you remember I posted my June Goals. Let me tell you friends… not this one! Make It Happen is not written by a psychologist. She starts the book sharing very personal aspects of her life, different struggles she faced which are all relatable as a woman which led her to ask herself very serious questions about taking the leap in life…how to live with a greater purpose. Throughout the book, she shares aspects of her life but more importantly asks the reader really important questions to get you thinking. It really makes you dig deep within yourself and figure out what is holding you back from living the life you were meant to. Not only does she ask questions to get you thinking about what is holding you back, but she challenges you to take a leap of faith and make it happen.

Everyone has ideas, only few can materialize them. She helped me navigate the process of gathering a launch team, planning my launch, and figuring out how to best position myself on Amazon and Kindle. Her knowledge of the publishing world and her calm demeanor made what can be a very challenging process seem way more do-able. And best of all Within 48 hours of launching, my book became a 1 bestseller on Amazon and in the top 10 on kindle, which led to me being pursued by a major publishing house! All I can say is, I highly recommend working with Monica to help you successfully launch a book without going crazy!
