Ho Ho Ho! The Gingerbrea d Man by Bonnie and Bill Rutherford Whitman Publishing Company, This classic cookie tale by powerhouse illustration couple, Bonnie and Bill Rutherford, teaches an important lesson: never trust a fox. Delicious freedom is everything to the gingerbread man…until he meets a violent end! Very cute, but perhaps a bit careless in its message In that way it s quite nostalgic, and the illustrations are as well. I liked the use of verbs throughout this story and the use of alliteration The large font helps to emphasise certain words when reading aloud.
